Franziska Obholzer (she/her/hers) works as Senior Policy Advisor for Women’s Protection and Empowerment at the International Rescue Committee (IRC). IRC is committed to ending violence against women and girls in humanitarian emergencies and empowering them to change harmful gender norms. Ms. Obholzer holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Development Policy from the Institute for Development and Peace (INEF) at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Previously, Ms. Obholzer worked with ONE in Germany and led advocacy for the Poverty is Sexist campaign in Germany. In this role, she accompanied several G7 and G20 processes.
