Welcome to W7 Germany
The Deutscher Frauenrat (National Council of German Women’s Organizations) is hosting the 2022 Women7 Dialogue during Germany’s G7 presidency. As an umbrella organization of around 60 nationwide women’s associations and organizations, the Deutscher Frauenrat is the biggest women’s lobby in Germany. Through a multi-stage consultation process, W7 Germany brings together an international network of feminist civil society organizations and advocacy groups with the aim of placing gender equality at the center of G7 negotiations and formulating powerful demands to G7 leaders. At the W7 Summit on May 24 – 25 in Berlin, the W7 Communiqué and Implementation Plan were handed over to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
