“Our Voices, our Choices” is the name of the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s international, gender equality policy podcast series which aims to hand the microphone to people whose voices don’t often get heard.
We cooperated with “Our Voices, our Choices” for a very special project: In a three-part podcast series, you will learn how the W7 Dialogue contributes to bringing the perspective of civil society into the G7 process and we take stock for you in this new episode:
W7 – After the Summit: What have we achieved?
What are the outcomes of the G7 dialogue under the German presidency? What role will the issues of gender equality and gender justice play in the final declaration of the G7 countries to be adopted in Elmau? Will the W7 be satisfied with the outcome? The third and final episode of the W7 podcast series is available now in Englisch and in German.
The episode features:
- Caroline Ausserer, W7 Project Coordinator at the National Council of German Women’s Organizations
- Khanyo Farisé, Outright Action International
- Spogmay Ahmed, International Center for Research on Women and a W7 Advisor on Feminist Foreign Policy
- Miwo Atsuko, executive director of the Human Rights Information Center in Osaka, Japan, and a W7 Advisor on gender-equal responses to the covid pandemic
