27 January 2022 |

Germany’s G7 Presidency invited national and international civil society to a kick-off event on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

The aim of the event was to discuss the priorities of the German G7 Presidency programme with the mandated G7 engagement groups  in the area of climate/energy and the environment.

During her input, W7 Leader Juliane Rosin stated: “What we need? Gender-responsive funding and impact assessments, gender-disaggregated data and leadership of women & girls in all their diversity are key to a climate-just transition!”

Further information on the programme can be found on the BMUV website .
