Dr Ernestine NGO MELHA is specialized in the field of education and training as well as international cooperation.She received her PhD in education science from the university of Burgundy- IREDU in France. She is holder of other several university degrees and certificates. She is a proven expert on education policies . She is associate researcher/professor and author of numerous books and publications. In 1998, she founded the Association d’Aide à l’Education de l’Enfant Handicapé (AAEEH), an NGO granted with special consultative status with the United Nations since 2013. She is the permanent representative of AAEEH to the United Nations. With over 25 years of experience, she contributes actively and significantly to the advancement of the consideration of disability in various fields. In recent years, she has been involved in in the Beijing+25 process and the generation equality forum, in cross-cutting issues related to disability.In 2016 she participated in New York in a panel in a side event on the sidelines of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW61), co-organized by UN Women and UN DESA ; In 2020, she led the cycle of 4 conferences on the theme “Disability, gender, education”; In 2021 , she launched the project « our voice .
