Houraye M. ANNE is a seasoned and committed education, gender and development specialist with experience of working for pan-African institutions, UN agencies, international development NGO and the private sector. The technical assistance she provided throughout her career at continental and national levels contributed to strengthen African policymakers’ ability to analyze, develop and put in place strategic policy frameworks and cost-effective policies and programs to meet their global, continental and national commitments. Houraye M. ANNE is currently working towards gender equality in and through education and promoting girls’ education in Africa among other through high-level policy dialog to achieve strategic policy choices, policy and planning, sector analysis, networking and advocacy, analytical work and capacity building. She currently is Coordinator of the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) West Africa Sub Regional Office (WASRO) and is responsible for 14 national chapters across West and Central Africa.
