Kirthi Jayakumar is a feminist researcher working in the areas of Women, Peace, and Security, Transitional Justice, and Feminist Foreign Policy. She founded and runs The Gender Security Project, which works at the cusp of gender, security, peace, and conflict through reportage and documentation from a global south perspective. She served as an advisor to the Women7 under the German G7 Presidency and currently serves as the Head of Training at World Pulse. She has master’s degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies from CTPSR, Coventry University, and UPEACE, Costa Rica, and a bachelor’s degree in Law from SOEL, Chennai.
