Scovia Ampumuza is a member of GYBN Rwanda’s stirring committee and volunteers as a program facilitator in the RYBN secretariat. By supporting youth participation in the convention on the biological diversity process in Rwanda. Scovia facilitated National youth consultation meetings on the Post-2020 Global biodiversity framework and side events organized by RYBN in the course of Africa Protected Areas (APAC). Despite invaluable work accomplished in Rwanda Youth Biodiversity Network as a volunteer, Scovia is currently serving in the promotion of Gender mainstreaming by enhancing women’s empowerment, passionate about facilitation, and engaging in the mindset shift of women & youth by increasing their power to take control over decisions that shape their lives and community and self-confidence in Rwandan rural areas as a Program facilitator in Resonate. Scovia is forever passionate about facilitation and engaging in the mindset shift of women & youth by increasing their power to take control over decisions that shape their lives and community. She is determined to be a great leader through her ability to empower others and aspire towards a common goal.
