“Uzma Yaqoob is a human rights activist working for women, transgender and persons with disabilities for the past 15 years now. She is based in Islamabad, capital territory of Pakistan. Her area of expertise includes sexual and reproductive health and rights, climate justice and women question, women meaningful political participation and leadership. She is a recipient of the national human rights award 2016. She is founder and executive director at Forum for Dignity Initiatives-fdi, a research and advocacy forum working for women, transgender and persons with disabilities since 2013.
