Yukiko ODA is an activist, a researcher and practitioner in the field of gender and development and environment. She was a member of W20 Japan Delegates in 2020-2021. As a researcher, she has experience in field research on women in Asian countries, including Japan, and published books and articles on the women’s movement and on development and the environment from a gender perspective. She also engaged in education and training. As a practitioner for international development, she has worked on projects in Asia including on human trafficking in Thailand by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
