Feminist Visions for a Just G7: Background Papers
As Canada assumes the G7 Presidency in 2025, the Women 7 (W7) presents a series of background papers grounded in feminist analysis and global solidarity. These papers—on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology, Climate Justice, Democracy and Inclusive Governance, and Economic Resilience—provide an overview of the key feminist debates on these issues, an outline of what the G7 have committed to already, and suggestions for taking G7 commitments further. These background papers provide the analysis needed to formulate bold W7 recommendations, which will be released over the coming weeks.
